When I run dxdiag and run the 2D and 3D draw tests, the tests runs but the animations are moving at lightening speed. the game does not actually crash, you can still hear sounds going on it the 2D HUD responds to control inputs and you can hit escape to get back to main menu and everything. All that is on the screen are the 2D HUD textures and the 2D textures that move leave "ghosts". The game actually runs the menus and such after starting, but as soon as the actual 3D part starts (its a flying game) none of the 3D textures are rendered. I know that all of my games used to work on Windows XP when I was a kid so that's what I set up my virtual machine for. I got most of them to work on my physical modern Windows 10 computer, but one, "Hot wheels Jetz" simply refuses to work, even in compatibility mode.
